Tips For Planning A Trip To A Bali Hotel

Bali is a legendary destination for holidaymakers who wish to get away from it all in a paradise that is so picture perfect Hollywood has long adored it for on-location shoots. Planning a trip to this Indonesian destination, however, does demand careful attention to detail. Covering more than 5,000 square kilometers, this island is larger than it may appear in films.

So, what should holidaymakers keep in mind when they are planning a trip to a Bali hotel? These tips can help make a vacation to this tropical destination one that will never be forgotten:

* Take the time to carefully choose the actual destination – Bali is large enough that it tends to take more than one trip to see it all. For first-time goers, it’s a good idea to carefully research destinations to centre a trip around. Interior cities like Ubud, for example, offer some incredible sights and plenty of culture, but they will simply not provide the beach appeal stops like Kuta or Nusa Dua boast. To make a good choice to fit personal tastes, take the time to review individual destinations and the attractions they offer.
* Set a preliminary tour itinerary – Whilst it is very likely that plans will change based on whim once the destination is reached, it’s a good idea to at least list out sights and attractions to see during a trip to a Bali hotel. Having a rough idea or even a few booked and paid-for guided tours can ensure that the major sights in any destination are taken in and enjoyed.
* Set a realistic budget – Bali is a destination that is much more affordable than many people realise. Even so, it is quite wise to set a realistic budget for the stay. Beyond travel expenses, make sure to have enough money set aside for a good Bali hotel, food, mementos and attractions.
* Choose a hotel with care – There are many different kinds of hotels in Bali to choose from. Take the time review the options in a particular destination closely and balance them against personal needs. Families, for example, might better benefit from a suite or even a villa to provide a little more room and privacy. Standard Bali hotels, however, do offer a lot of amenities and a level of service that can make even budget locations seem luxurious.
* Understand what the weather will be like – Although Bali is considered balmy no matter the time of year, there are certain times when more than a little rain might be expected. When planning a trip to this island, be sure to know weather predictions before packing.
* Make sure to pack all necessities – Whilst Bali hotels can help guests obtain items they may have left at home, it’s always best to pack necessities with care.
To enjoy this destination without worries, make a list of necessities and cross them off as items are packed.

Spending a vacation in a Bali hotel is dream for many. When this destination is on the agenda, planning in advance can help ensure a trip that is truly spectacular.

Looking to book holidays to Bali? Then find Bali hotel accommodation, other tourism resources and Bali island tours with Bali Dream Tours. Make online bookings for hotels and villas in Nusa Dua, Jimbaran, Tuban, Seminyak, Ubud, Kuta, Sanur and other areas of Bali by visiting Bali Hotels.

Bali Travel - 20 Things That You May Not Know You Can Do In Bali

Here is a starter list of 20 new things you may want to try when you are next in Bali:

1) Bird Park; You don't need to be a bird watcher to enjoy this colourful park. Take a morning off, and discover the beauty of an array of tropical birds Bali has to offer. Even better, arrive later in the afternoon, and enjoy some amazing sun-set melodies. A great choice for enthusiasts and families. (located at Taman Burung - open 08:00 - 18:00 daily)

2) Cruising; Pick a boat of your choice, and head for the high seas! Nowadays Bali has a great selection of safe boats to choose from. Go for a fun filled family outing or go more adventurous with some of the latest cutting edge crafts which deliver the speed. (Bali Hai Cruises, Sea Safari Cruises, Bounty Cruises)

3) Bali Dance Performances; Be enthralled by unique Balinese dances! Try to catch one of each of: Kecak, Legong and Fire Dances, at least. There are dozens of different troupes to choose from, each with their own following. Keep in mind, shows in hotels and tourist restaurants offer vanilla flavour, and sometimes mechanical re-creations of the real thing. Head out to some of the villages, and you will be handsomely rewarded with the authentic fare.

4) Designer Shopping; No, I am not talking about the ‘fake originals' that litter the streets of many other Asian locations. In the recent years, Bali has attracted some of the most talented original designers, and artists from around the world (both the East and the West). This coupled with the inherent artistic capabilities of the Balinese, means that Bali today enjoys a large number of original designer shops. You can find anything from post-modern lighting installations, to Imperial Chinese style sideboards, and from original water fountain designs to some of the best jewelry designed and manufactured anywhere in the world.

5) Diving; Put your PADI license to use, or if you are a diving newbie, just do it, and get your PADI certificate in Bali! A range of dive organizers for the experienced, and dive schools for the new comers are available to choose from. Some offer PADI ‘Youth Scuba' courses for ages 5+.

6) Dolphin Watching; Enjoy these all-time favourites in their natural habitat. They are at their best first thing in the morning. Also, the soft hues of the sun-rise provide amazing colours for the photography enthusiasts. However, you will need to plan ahead for this one, since Lovina is in the North of the island, and you will more than likely be staying in a hotel or a rental villa in the south.

7) Fishing; Go after that marlin or try your hand at yellow fin tuna! Most boats provide full tackle, bait and a running commentary, a friendly, giggly banter which makes the day out that much more enjoyable. (fishing boats from Benoa Harbour or Sanur)

8) Elephant Safari Park; Arguably, one of the best in South East Asia! Great location and landscaped gardens. Don't forget to do the elephant safari ride.

9) Jet Skiing; Re-create those favourite Baywatch moments! Due to their environmental impact, only available at some selected beaches across the island. (available at Grand Hyatt Nusa Dua).

10) Go-Karting; Only for those who get withdrawal symptoms from being away from the hustle and bustle of big-city life! All the noise, thrills and danger of the real thing! Choice of single or double carts.

11) Golfing; A number of 18 hole courses are available across Bali. As you would expect, each more beautiful than the other. Relax on an easy course, or challenge yourself to one of the more demanding courses designed by professionals. Either way, don't miss the spectacular views over the Indian Ocean or one of Bali's great volcanoes. Most courses in Bali are to international standards, and many offer clubhouses and recreational facilities for the rest of the family.

12) Helicopter Tours; Go on, splash out for that once in a life-time experience! Spectacular views over Bali even Lombok. Take in the gentle rice terraces from the best vantage point, or get up close and personal with a volcano! Not cheap, but certainly an experience never to forget. (Air Bali)

13) Horse Riding; Enjoy one of the equestrian centres at your doorstep! Selection of horses, with courses for the beginners. Wonderful escorted tours through the rice terraces and tide permitting down the beach. (Umalas or Saba Bay Stables)

14) Kite Boarding; Some great wind and lift, as well as the equipment for rental is available at Nusa Dua beaches. But make sure you have a great story lined up for your insurance company! Keep in mind, this really is an Extreme Sport.

15) Monkey Watching; Experience mischievous macaques in full action! Also, some good restaurants and eateries nearby. However, be careful of your cameras, glasses and the like! (The Sacred Monkey Forest - Ubud)

16) Mountain Cycling; If you like cycling, why not enjoy a leisurely cycle with views of the Batur volcano! Lots to see, lots to learn, all on two wheels with an experienced guide. (Bali Adventure Tours)

17) Paragliding; Throw yourself off the sheer cliff faces of Uluwatu into the Indian Ocean! As a beginner you can enjoy great tandem jumps with well qualified professionals with great safety records.

18) Slingshot (Reverse Bungee); Defy gravity Bali style, with some spectacular 50m views! (That is, if you remember to open your eyes!) Not for the faint-hearted. Organisers follow international safety standards.

19) Surfing; If you've come with your board you'll know where to go! If you are keen to learn, there are many schools to choose from, just head for the beach! Whilst Kuta is a good all rounder, Uluwatu, Padang-Padang, and Balangan can provide some great tubes to test the more experienced. (some offer surfing lessons for ages 5+, so the whole family can enjoy surfing all together)

20) Temple Ceremonies; Few visitors to Bali realise that in most instances you will be welcomed to attend local ceremonies as an observer. The great thing is, there is a temple ceremony every single day of the year in Bali, just ask around to find the nearest one during your stay. If you are lucky enough, you may be able to catch one of the Full Moon or Dark Moon ceremonies which attract devotees from far a field and are some of the most colourful events on the island. Please remember that a sensible dress code, and polite/respectful behaviour are essential for continued hospitality towards foreign guests. (Also, please note that women are not allowed in the temples during their menstrual period.)

Sanur Beach Hotel, Bali Guest Room Bathrooms: Are The Showers Over The Bath?

I am travelling to Bali in July with an elderly person. She has recommended that we stay at the Sanur Beach Hotel. However, she is concerned that the rooms we stay in will have a shower over the bath, which won't be suitable as there is a too bigger step for her to get up over the side of the bath. Does anyone know whether the standard guest rooms have a separate shower and bath or just an all-in-one with shower over the top?

Why A Bali Hotel Puts Travelers On Paradise’s Doorstep

There are thousands of destinations to choose from when holiday time rolls around. Trying to narrow it down to just one location isn’t easy. For some 2 million people per year, however, Bali is the place that calls.

What makes this destination so popular with tourists the world over? Chances are they come to see what paradise on earth really looks like.

Holidaymakers who choose to stay in a Bali hotel will not be disappointed with the options available to them. This Indonesian archipelago offers an incredible mix of natural and manmade sights well worth taking in, and its relaxed, enjoyable pace is a welcomed change for those used to a busy pace.

If Bali’s “paradise” status is in question, consider these things that draw in so many visitors each year:

* The weather – Bali is known for its warm, tropical climate that produces average year-round temperatures that fall in around 31 degrees Celsius. Although the wet season, which runs from October to April, can produce some serious rains, Bali is considered welcoming no matter the time of year.
* The geography – Walk outside of any Bali hotels and the geography will be sure to impress. Spanning some 5,632 square kilometers, Bali is home to volcanic mountains that are often ringed in a surreal mist, lush tropical beaches and some of the most breathtaking lakes and valleys on the planet. Even the agricultural lands here are impressive with their terraces and gentle slopes.
* The luxury – Anyone who chooses to stay in a Bali hotel will discover the meaning of luxury. This destination is home to a number of hotels that do not skimp on a single luxury. From eye-popping landscapes and pampering spas to world-class, in-house cuisine, the hotels in Bali offer every convenience.
* The adventures – If adventure appeals, Bali delivers. Holidaymakers here can horseback ride, hike, mountain climb, surf, explore and more. The potential for adventure is practically never-ending.
* The history – Bali is soaked in a rich history that remains important today and is well evidenced in its many temples and monuments. The island is believed to have been first inhabited by the Chinese in the 2500s BC. Through its history, it was heavily influenced by Buddhist and Hindu settlers. Europeans made first contact here in the 16th century and they, too, left a visible mark on this paradise. Vacationers to Bali will find evidence of these influences in the arts, architecture and ruins found here.
* The shopping – Shopping in Bali is a dream come true for many. Here holidaymakers will find everything from modern malls to quaint street markets. Bali’s many artisans tend to steal the show in many major tourist destinations, offering handicrafts that are well worth taking home.
* The dining – The cuisine found in Bali is enough to please even the pickiest of eaters. Foods found here originate from all over the world. In fact, holidaymakers can enjoy not only a taste of Indonesia, but also Europe, Asia, the Americas and beyond.

When a stay in a Bali hotel is on tap, holidaymakers will find themselves on the doorstep to paradise. This unusual destination is sure to please visitors who crave a lush setting with plenty to see and do.

Visitors to Bali will find there is no shortage of activities to take part in. Although the island is only 5,632 square kilometers, it packs adventure into nearly every bit of it. Some of the things those who stay in Bali hotels will be able to see, do or experience include:

* Beach hopping – From Kuta and Legian to Tuban and Sanur, the beaches of Bali are some of the most beautiful in the world. The island’s beaches boast white sand and waters so beautiful the backdrop looks like it was painted by an artist.
* Water sports – Bali’s beaches are not only perfect for lazy days sunbathing and swimming, but also for incredible water sports. Bali hotels are the ideal launching point for snorkeling, diving, water skiing, parasailing, white water rafting and even fishing and cruising adventures.
* Golf – Visitors who stay in Bali hotels will find some of the world’s most picturesque golf courses at their disposal. The Bali Handara Kosaido Country Club, located in the mountains of Bali, is considered one of the most breathtaking courses in the world.
* Natural tours – People do not come to Bali to spend days inside. When exploring the island’s natural wonders is the plan, a variety of nature tours will make sure visitors see the wonders that make Bali so special. Some destinations worth taking in include the Bali Barat National Park, the Botanical Garden in Ubud and the Bali Safari and Marine Park.
* Wildlife – Beyond the fauna, visitors will also find some incredible wildlife. The Bali Zoo includes a collection from all over the world, but does provide a very localised flavour.
* Shopping – The island is a shopper’s dream come true. Its many vendors offer everything from handmade clothing and jewellery to artifacts and antiques. Some of the best stops to make for shopping include street markets in Nusa Dua and Kuta.

Bali has long called to visitors with its heavenly sights and promise of adventure. For those who choose to say in Bali hotels, wonder awaits around every corner.

Bali Travel Guide and Review - Part 2

Balinese Castes

The Balinese Hindu religion regards a traditional caste system though it has never been as divisive as its Indian ascendent. This is for the most part due to the fact that over 90% of Balinese belong to the lowest 'Sudra' caste, and in India would have been considered 'untouchable'. Given their dominance such mental attitudes in Bali would not be realistic. Notwithstanding these facts, inter-marriage persists to be uncommon and discouraged.

The three upper castes are together recognized as the 'Triwangsa' ('three peoples') constituting Brahmana, Kesayatria and Wesia. Caste is specified by birth but is rarely reflected in a person's occupation, although only a Brahmana can be suited to be a Pedanda high priest, and only Brahmana may take the task of recreating masks from the 'Barong' dance as they harbour the ability to protect themselves from the evil spirits.

Balinese Names

Upon learning a Balinese friends name, you can establish some elements of his or her background. First Of All, the name will often indicate the cast to which they belong. For illustration, if you meet someone named Ida Bagus, you recognize they belong to the highest Brahmana caste or, if they are addressed as Gusti, they will almost surely belong to the Wesia caste. The Balinese also distinguish their children in order of birth. Together with a personal name, unique in the family, a Balinese child will be awarded a more common name. The firstborn is often Wayan or Putu while the second born generally carries the name of Made or Kadek. The third child usually is Nyoman or Komang and the fourth is always Ketut; with the birth of a fifth child, the naming cycle starts again.

Children

The Balinese dote on their children, a devotion that no doubt leads to the calm and relaxed demeanour of the island's population. At birth the baby's umbilical cord is buried with oblations to protect them throughout their lives. Until the child reaches three months of age, they are permanently carried as it is regarded as unclean and disrespectful if they should touch the ground before that age. Balinese children are discouraged from crawling, believed to be only the actions of an animal, and learn to walk at a very young age. Upon reaching 105 days, the baby will be ornamented with bracelets and anklets. A further 105 days later, a ceremony is held to signify their entry into adulthood. The passage through puberty is celebrated with a tooth filing ceremony, aimed to flatten any pointed teeth that may represent evil and designed to restrict sinful emotions and actions such as greed, anger, jealousy, stupidity, and adultery.

Everyday, there are many temple ceremonies all over Bali. Some are held at a single village temple while others are island-wide. One common ceremony is the 'odelan', held every 210 days to celebrate a temple's anniversary. Another is held every time there is a full moon. The day of Saraswati heralds a ceremony celebrating knowledge, learning and the arts. Ceremonies on this day are held in relation to schools and primarily involve students. Some important days occur very rarely such as the 'Eka Dasa Rudra', held only once every 100 years at Besakih Temple. .

Religion

Bali is a predominantly Hindu Island, surviving in an Islamic nation. Minority populations of Muslims, Christians and Buddhists are also found on the island.

Little is known of the introduction of Hinduism in Bali though it doubtlessly involved the Indian traders who came to these parts for the spice trade over two thousand years ago. Given its physical isolation from the ancestral religion, Balinese Hinduism has since developed into a unique version of the ancient faith. Although the fundamentals remain the same, many of the gods revered on Bali are unknown in India and vice versa. Vast Hindu kingdoms were also found in neighbouring islands but they disappeared soon after the Arabs became interested in the archipelago, bringing with them Islam to Indonesia's shores. Bali held little interest for the Arab traders so it was largely left alone. Throughout Indonesia, traditional beliefs in mysticism and the spiritual world remain strong, despite the common practice of imported faiths that forbid such strong beliefs.

While the impact this has had on the Islamic faith is often controversial, for the Balinese, the two have merely blend to create the distinctive religion they follow today.

Surfing Bali - Kuta Beach - Part 2

Part 2 - Still photos and HQ video of my 6-year old son surfing at Kuta Beach in Bali, Indonesia. Imagine being 6 and surfing Bali at sunset.

The Long March of Freedom

Management of Balis Rabies Crisis Is Just Barking Mad

Just what is going on with rabies in Bali? It?s an interesting question ? quite literally a vital one ? and yet no one can give a clear answer. Do You Think It's A Good Idea To Build A Hotel-casino-golfcourse In Bali?

I've heard that Bali has recovered very well eversince the bombing, and the area is doing very well. But do you think a hotel-casino with golf course and theme park would be overkill or is it something that tourists would want?
Although a mega project, it's estimated to cost a mere 180 million US dollars. Should I invest my time & effort to find investors? Any idea where or how I would go about finding investors? (other than Donald Trump!)

Bali: Beaches, Spas, Nightlife and Shahrukh Khan

For me, arriving at Bali was a travellers' delight. Nothing could beat travel fatigue better than the friendly, smiling Balinese faces at the Customs and Immigrations at the Denpasar airport and the ' Visa on arrival' stamped on my passport for 10 USD in 15 minutes flat!

I had heard that Bali was an island of temples, dances, and age-old rituals; with over 95 per cent of the 3 million people practice a form of Hinduism. But nothing prepared me for the spot-on recital of ‘Gayatri Mantra' by my taxi driver, followed by a song from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai in the same breath. I was amazed by the Bollywood craze in this Far East city, so much so, that I was instantly labelled ‘from Shah Rukh Khan's country' by every taxi driver and local I met!

Arriving at the airport, most tourists head straight for the beach areas of Kuta, Sanur, Jimbaran or Nusa Dua, I chose Kuta simply because it is still arguably the centre of night life activities along with an array of shops, boutiques, and galleries- what more could I ask for!

Bali offers a vast section of hotels for all budgets, right from simple and cheap accommodation for backpackers to five star hotels with indulgent spas for those seeking pure luxury. I stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel, a stone's throw away from the Kuta beach.

At sunset, the Kuta beach comes alive, with people wanting to enjoy the stunning panorama. Teeming tourist, locals selling the colourful sarongs and batiks and a Balinese dance performance somewhere on endless stretch of the beach...and if you want to dance away into the wee hours of the morning, you wont be disappointed- pubbing is amazing in Kuta, with a wide choice of with pubs and discos that offer a vibrant nightlife.

The best way to enjoy Kuta is by simply asking the locals, who are very friendly an always ready to help you. I was lucky to have a very successful Indian friend in Indonesia- Kishore Pridhnani, who along with his wife Radha took me for a night tour of all the chic places in Kuta. The one that left a lasting impression on my mind was Ku De Ta, a fancy restaurant overlooking the beach. I absolutely loved the ambience in the night and would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

However, if your kind of vacation is to relax and chill out, head to the southern peninsula, with world-class, self-contained luxury hotels set on quiet stretches of beach of Sanur and Nusa Dua, as well as in Jimbaran Bay. (which is also very popular for very reasonable Sea food) These white sand beaches dotted by thousands of mangrove and coconut trees and sheltered by coral reefs, create an ideal haven for honeymooners or those preferring solitude.

To take a break from the hustle and bustle of Kuta, I headed for Ubud, which I must say has retained the feel of a cosy village retreat, despite of the growing tourism industry. Ubud is the arts and crafts capital of Bali, so in addition to streets lined with lined with shops and workshops specialising in traditional crafts, there are a number of different art galleries and museums to visit.

The next I headed for a day-trip cruise from Benoa Harbor that took me to the Lembongan Island, a popular spot for surfers and scuba divers. (at approx. USD 60 onwards for the day-cruise inclusive of lunch, I think it's a worth a visit). Arriving on the white sandy beaches of Lembongan Bay, you can take the guided snorkelling trips and glass-bottom boat cruise or simply walk amidst the native Balinese villages

If you want to take a break from the beach scenario, I suggest a trip into the cool mountains of Kintamani with its green rice fields, the placid Lake Batur that rests in a huge crater and the impressive Gunung Batur volcano that dominates the landscape. The evenings tend to get cooler, so carry a warm pullover or a shawl and make sure you have camera with you to capture the spectacular view of Mt Batur.

Bali is one of the Spa Capitals of the world where you can indulge yourself in a spa treatment at very reasonable prices. If you want to spoil yourself then you can sample from an elaborate menu of lulur massages, rice-paste exfoliations, flower petal aroma baths and indulgent cream baths. I would suggest you check some of the local spas that work spa therapies into your holiday schedule on a daily basis. And don't forget the traditional drinks made of herbs and roots- ‘jamu', a local Balinese remedy for fatigue, headaches, aching bones or chills.

For the adventurous and sporty, Bali offers a host of adrenaline-pumping water-sports, both below and above water. Surfing, scuba diving, banana boats, snorkelling, parasailing, Jet Ski, Bungee Jumping, Bali offers it all.

Do try the river rafting on the Ayung River amidst a wild tropical forest. Ride the fast-flowing Ayung river as it carves its way with numerous hairpin curves and swirling rapids. A full day programme would only cost you about USD 35 onwards and I found the experience thoroughly stimulating.

For those who love underwater world and always wanted to dive, there is spectacular scuba diving and snorkelling off the unspoiled coral reefs around the island, with the most amazing and colourful underwater life. There are even learner's courses by qualified professional instructors for the amateurs (you can take a day's course for less than USD 100)

And while you are on the beach enjoying the water sports, do indulge in the locals who cajole you into trying hair braiding, getting tattoo done or even have a relaxing massage.

If you are travelling with your kids, be sure to take them to the Waterboom Park. My kids and I enjoyed a day of waterslides and pools in all sizes with restaurants and snack bars within arms reach...good family fun for kids of all ages!

When you feel like venturing outside for a meal, there are lots of breezy open sided bamboo cafes serving authentic Balinese food as well as an array of sumptuous international cuisine. But for those who miss Indian food, I suggest you try out a delicious meal at the Queen's Tandoor in Seminyak, where the owners Puneet and Neeta Malhotra go out of the way to pamper you with personal attention.

Another big pastime here is shopping!

For those who do not want to wander too far from the beach, Sanur, Kuta and Ubud have more than enough to appease any shopper, from sarongs and sandals to wooden statues, stone carvings and iron and bronze works. But if you are keen on shopping, you can buy branded stuff from malls like Mahatari or also look for Factory Sales of branded clothes.

You'll find the ultimate in open-air market browsing in southern Bali, where traditional Asian-style shopping still thrives. Do check out the local painting styles. I suggest, you always go in at less than a third of the price and even walk away, until you get the price you want. .

And before you leave Bali don't forget to buy their chilly sauce called Sambal (its one of it's kind and you can even pick it up at the duty free at Bali Airport.)

From the locals raving over Shah Rukh Khan to the colourful Balinese-Hindu culture, this tropical paradise lures Indians, not just by its natural exquisiteness but more importantly by its culture and the warmth of the Balinese people.

With Bali becoming more accessible and affordable, with cheap extension packages from Kuala Lumpur or Singapore and great deals from Garuda Indonesia Airlines that have daily flights connecting the Island for as little as USD 160 for a round trip ticket, I would defiantly recommend this island getaway as your next travel itinerary!

Is It Safe For An American To Travel To Bali Alone?

I know it's sort of a lame question, but my wife would be upset if I weren't sure. I am quick to take the point of view that the terrorist risk is high in New York too, so what's the problem. But I guess it doesn't hurt to ask. Thanks for the advice!

What To Expect From Bali Hotels

Holidaymakers toying with the idea of getting away from it all in Bali are likely to picture warm tropical breezes, incredible ruins and picture-perfect waters. Few stop to think about the types of accommodations that might be available in this dream destination. If they do, thoughts of primitive thatched huts with few modern amenities might come to mind courtesy of Hollywood movies. Today’s Bali hotels, however, offer many surprises for those with a penchant for luxury.

Thanks to the popularity of this Indonesian archipelago, holidaymakers can expect the best of both worlds when they visit Bali. The island is home to pristine views, spectacular beaches, breathtaking sculptures and mist-covered mountains that look like they could only exist in a fairytale dream. It, however, is also home to more than its fair share of highly modern and thoroughly luxurious accommodations. In fact, Bali offers not only an array of hotels, but also a number of private villas, apartments and residences available for rental.

So, what can visitors really expect from Bali hotels? Here are a few of the features that ensure the accommodations will be as memorable as the island itself:

* A wide price range – Holidaymakers can find Bali hotels to fit just about any budget imaginable. Even on the low end of the price scale, however, visitors will find the modern conveniences they crave.
* Lush landscaping – Many hotels in Bali were created with aesthetics in mind for certain. The landscaping surrounding these hotels is designed to help them blend into the beautiful surroundings so they do not detract from them. Some destinations even boast their own highly manicured gardens to give guests a quite place to sit, relax and take in the splendour that is Bali.
* On-site restaurants – Although each hotel offers its own fare, holidaymakers can expect some great culinary treats whilst they are in Bali. The on-site fare here ranges from to-order menu setting options in private villas to larger hotels that provide cuisine not only from Indonesia, but also Europe, the Americas and Asia.
* Swimming pools – Whilst it’s almost criminal to go to Bali without visiting a beach, some holidaymakers still relish the idea of taking a dip in a freshwater pool. Many hotels in Bali see that this is possible by offering guests in ground, oversized pools.
* Access to the outside world – The point of visiting Bali is to get away from it all, but sometimes visitors cannot quite pull this off. For those who cannot, many hotels do provide Internet access, full television service and other connectors to all points beyond Bali.
* The spa treatment – Many hotels throughout Bali also offer full spas so holidaymakers can pamper themselves whilst they are away from home. Some even provide a babysitting service so parents can relax without worrying about their little ones.

Bali might be a pristine tropical destination, but it does not skimp on luxury. When holidaymakers choose this destination, they can rest assured the selection of places to say will cover every convenience they require and perhaps even more.
